Quality Control

1. Quality Control Department & Personnel

Our company has established a dedicated Quality Control Department under the leadership of a QC Manager. The team includes:

  • QC Manager: Oversees quality planning, handles major non-conformities, and ensures compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspectors: Check raw materials (metal sheets, wood, foam, leather, stone slabs) for compliance with specifications.
  • In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) Inspectors: Monitor key production stages (e.g., metal cutting/welding, wood processing, foam fitting, leather sewing).
  • Final Quality Control (FQC) Inspectors: Conduct pre-shipment checks on finished products.

All QC staff undergo training and follow standardized procedures to ensure consistent quality.

2. Quality Control Process

A strict quality control system is implemented throughout the manufacturing process:

  • Incoming Material Inspection:

    • Materials are sampled and tested against standards (e.g., metal thickness, wood moisture content ≤12%, foam density, leather abrasion resistance).
    • Non-conforming materials are quarantined and handled via return/rework.
  • Production Process Controls:

    • IPQC monitors critical processes: welding strength, coating adhesion, dimensional accuracy (e.g., perpendicularity deviation ≤2mm/m), and assembly of multi-material components.
    • Records are maintained for traceability.
  • Finished Product Inspection:

    • Tests include structural stability (e.g., load capacity per GB/T 10357 series), surface quality (coating hardness, color fastness), and safety (sharp edges, formaldehyde emissions per GB 18584).
    • Products failing inspection are repaired or scrapped.

3. Instruments & Equipment

We utilize advanced tools to ensure precision:

  • Dimensional Tools: Calipers, tape measures, levels.
  • Material Testers: Coating thickness gauges, hardness testers, salt spray chambers (for metal corrosion resistance), adhesion testers.
  • Performance Testers: Load testers (for tables/chairs), durability testers, environmental chambers (for temperature/humidity resistance).

Equipment is regularly calibrated to maintain accuracy.

4. Compliance & Standards

Our system aligns with GB/T 3325-2024 for metal furniture and integrates ISO 9001 principles for full-process quality assurance.

This streamlined framework ensures the reliability, safety, and durability of our metal furniture products with mixed materials. For specific requirements (e.g., children’s furniture), tailored checks are added. Let me know if you need further customization!
